April 15-17
Here's your chance to find unique and wonderful gifts for Mother's Day, Father's Day, weddings, and other upcoming celebrations: it's time for the Craft Guild Spring Show and Sale!  More than sixty top artists will be featured in this juried show, with art including jewelry, glass, fiber, bookbinding pottery and more.

Located in our gallery area, the show offers superior shopping without worry about spring storms, parking, or other festival issues.

You're Invited!
Invite your friends to join us for the opening night reception on Friday, April 15 at 6 p.m. Enjoy refreshments while you peruse the best of some of Dallas' top artists.  Bid on silent auction items, enjoy live music, and watch demonstrations by our artists.

Like Art?  Like Kids?
Then you'll love volunteering for our popular summer camps. Come help children discover and explore their inner artists in weekly sessions starting the first week in June and continuing through late August. Both morning and afternoon shifts are available; call us at 972-490-0303 to let us know which week you prefer to help.

Ladies and Gentlemen, the Stones!

You know it's spring when Joe Jelks and Horizon Minerals are here with a trunk show of amazing stones to inspire your jewelry creations.  Mark your calendars for their trunk show just for Guild members on April 20th and 21st.

President's Update
It's almost here and you're invited!  The opening night of our spring show is a don't-miss party: live music, refreshments, a silent auction, and the first peek at the work of over 60 top artists in our juried show.  It's all happening on Friday, April 15th, from 6 pm to 10 pm.

Invite your friends to join you and make it an event. They'll appreciate the chance to snap up one-of-a-kind gifts for Mother's Day, Father's Day, and upcoming weddings, as well as joining you for the evening's fun.

Summertime - remember how wonderful it can be when you're a kid?  Experience the fun again by assisting with our popular summer camps.  You'll help children explore different kinds of art, and have a blast yourself.  We have morning and afternoon shifts available from the first week in June through the last week in August; just call us at 972-490-0303 and let us know which week you're available for some fun and creativity.

Check back next month when we announce more about our exciting upcoming relocation.

Give the Gift of Creativity to a Child You Love

Did you know the Craft Guild offers a wide selection of creative summer camps for children? Ranging from learning to throw on a potter's wheel, to fusing glass, to binding your own book, these highly popular classes inspire and captivate children aged 6 to 18.

There are still spaces available:  brighten the summer of a child you love by giving them the gift of creative inspiration.

Select a class from our 2016 summer class schedule, and call us at 972-490-0303 to register your young artist now.
Around the Guild
Bernadette Leach, one of our advanced fabrication students, has been accepted to BeadDreams 2016.

Each year the Bead&Button Show sponsors a juried competition of exceptional bead artistry from around the world.  Finalists will be on display at the Bead&Button Show, June 8 - 12, at the Wisconsin Center in Milwaukee, WI.

The winners of cash awards are announced at the show.  The outstanding piece among category winners receives a Best in Show trophy and a gift certificate from Fire Mountain Gems and Beads.
