Adventures in Keum Boo in Metal Clay

CGD Instructor:  Charlotte Edwards

Learn to add interest and value to your fine silver pieces using the traditional Korean technique of Keum Boo, in which thin sheets of gold are applied to silver.  A multi-level pendant and a pair of earrings accented with 24k gold will be made.  Intermediate and advanced skill levels are required.  Bring the typical metal clay tools, including an agate burnisher, to complete these projects.

Workshop Fee:  $90

Supplies:  Students are welcome to bring approximately 40g of silver Clay and 24K gold foil for these projects.  Both are available for purchase and payable to the instructor at the beginning of the workshop.
