Introductory Bookbinding for Teens will be a seven-week course in which students will make 3-4 books of differing design and structure. Instruction will cover basic bookbinding skills such as folding and cutting paper for signatures, sewing, design, and assembly of a handmade book. Students will also learn how to use traditional bookbinding equipment as well as how to make and/or improvise tools for contemporary binding. Supply fee $10.

VFA601a Visual Fine Arts for Homeschoolers (8 - 18) Various Instructors

 This is a Fine Art instruction program with a focus on visual arts dedicated specifically for Homeschool learners. All students receive instruction based on the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) for art through four basic standards of perception, creative expression, historical & cultural heritage, and Evaluation by visual arts instructors.

All tools supplied by the instructors. Supply fee is $75.00 per session.
