Powertex is a versatile, water-based medium that can be used on various materials to create 2D or 3D sculptures. It is a popular medium for mixed media art, canvas work, figurine sculptures, jewelry, and home decor projects. Join me in a two-day workshop to learn how to create a Lady In Rags Figure Sculpture by learning how to make an armature then using Powertex medium to make her dress and headpiece. After she dries, you will paint using powertex colors.

Day 1 -10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Lunch break 1 hr (bring your own or find a meal nearby) Day 2 -1:00PM - 5:00PM

The Lucky Penny pattern is a beginner friendly slim wallet featuring two slip pockets, credit card slots, and your choice of strap or lock closure. Recommended fabrics for this project include cork, faux leather, kraft-tex, or any non-fraying fabric. You will learn how to cut and stitch cork or faux leather fabric, install a piece of hardware, and finish the edges of your project. The class is 2 hours long and you should be able to leave with a completed wallet!

Beginners Fine Silver Metal Clay Workshop - Paula Beckett

This class is a hands on silver metal clay work shop designed for individuals who want to learn the basics of working with metal clay.  A pendant will be formed and fired.  After the metal clay is fired it is a solid piece of fine silver.  Included in the class is a sterling silver chain so that the students leave the class with a completed piece of jewelry. 

 Tools can be borrowed for the class from the instructor.  Tools are separate from supplies.
