Discover the “Potpourri of Beads” technique! 

This class invites you to push creative boundaries as you craft a one-of-a-kind, out-of-the-ordinary necklace.  While a generous supply of beads and findings will be provided, you are encouraged to select 3 to 5 large-hole beads that resonate with you emotionally.  These beads will serve as a symbolic portal, guiding and connecting the various strands of your design.

You will expand your creative vision by incorporating a diverse array of smaller beads, pearls, gemstones, and other small unique materials to construct three unconventional strands.  A stunning clasp will be provided to complete your masterpiece, adding an extra touch of elegance to your creation.

In this class, we will go beyond technique to explore artistic vision.  We will discuss incorporating “out of the norm” materials into your work and delve into the concepts of “rhythm and song” to bring harmony and flow to your piece.  If time permits, I will also demonstrate techniques for creating earrings to complement your necklace.

This is a small, intimate class, allowing for plenty of individual attention and hands-on demonstrations to guide your journey.  Please bring along the tools you received in your Beginner class.  Shared tools will be available if needed and I am happy to provide suggestions for sourcing materials if you have misplaced your vendor list from Jewelry I.
