This is a one-weekend intensive beginners’ workshop intended to teach basic jewelry-making skills:
Soldering, Sawing, Texturing, Stone setting and Forming metals. We will focus on two basic projects designed to incorporate all of these basic skills. The first project is a copper pendant which will introduce the student to the basic patterning with hammers and rolling mill, sawing, and soldering skills. The second project will further reinforce the skills already learned and introduce working with silver, constructing a ring from sheet and wire and setting a stone. This workshop is perfect for someone just getting started or for someone who is looking to practice and hone these basic jewelry-making skills. Supply fee due at registration and includes all tools and materials.
