Let’s add texture or images to your metal by using a hydraulic press! In this 5-hour workshop you will learn how to use impression dies to create 2-dimensional jewelry pieces. You will learn how to cut shapes using pancake dies. This is great for jewelry production work. You will also learn how to “puff up” your work using silhouette dies. If we have time, you can shape metal into a synclastic bracelet. (There will be a one hour break for lunch)
Participants must know how to use a torch and use a jewelers saw.
Tool or Supply List: Your supply fee will cover cost of copper and access to impression dies, pancake dies, silhouette dies and bracelet formers.
