Sgraffito, meaning "to scratch", is a technique that allows you to add images or pattern to your pottery surfaces. Learn how to use tools to scratch through a layer of colored slip or underglaze to reveal the contrasting color beneath. This workshop will include both demonstration and practice, so bring two or three trimmed, leatherhard pots to practice and refine your new surface decoration skills. You may wish to bring your own images or sketches to use as well, although some will be provided.
Supply list: two or three trimmed, leatherhard pots
